SÉAN is a conceptual artist and writer from New Orleans, Louisiana, working across textiles, sculpture, collage, and installation. Her practice engages the embodied histories of identity, politics, and religion in the American South. Using collected and found materials, she constructs layered compositions that function as tools for ongoing collective conversations around resistance. She received an MFA from Columbia University in 2024 and a Bachelor of Architecture from Louisiana State University in 2020.
